Ireland Day 2

Tonight's first concert was fabulous. . .large and appreciative audience and our students treated them to a wide variety of classical and jazz music, followed by beloved Irish tunes encores.  Our soloist, tenor Paul Byrum, sang with both the orchestra and jazz septet.  Sense of humor and wonderful voice!

Hope all the students have crashed.  It was a long day starting with a Dublin city bus tour, some free time in Dublin, rehearsal/sound check, back to dinner and then the concert tonight.  Tomorrow morning,  suitcases need to be loaded on the bus at 7 am, then a big breakfast and on the bus heading for Cork via Tralee.

Photo is one bus load in front of Christ Church Cathedral.  The church was founded c. 1030.  Europe always puts our young country in perspective.

Below are a few photos from the Christ Church Cathedral Concert.
