Wonderful 7 hour and 7 minute Aer Lingus Flight to Dublin, arriving at 5:19 am to a bright sunny morning. Loaded on comfortable coach buses and drove to a nice road stop for breakfast, and then on to Glendalough, the setting of a 6th century monastic settlement complete with interesting old ruins and currently a national nature preserve with beautiful hiking trails.
Back on the coach bus to check in to wonderful accommodations at Dublin City University and then a three hour rehearsal to go through tomorrow's concert program with Paul Byrom, Irish tenor. Thought dinner was healthy and great (fish or chicken, rice or potatoes, carrots, salad and fabulous chocolate mousse dessert (my choice of three); kids may have another take on it. All should sleep great tonight. Going to check on rooms now.
